Combining American Vision and German Precision

New chapter: ITK North America.

After finishing my studies, the opportunity to be part of the beginnings of ITK in North America brought me back to Detroit. I was intrigued by the idea of playing a role in building something new, enjoying the agility of a startup while backed by the robust framework of the Robert Bosch GmbH.

I transitioned from an intern to a full-time employee, and now one of my responsibilities is to manage the internship program I once participated in, along with handling customer projects and developing automation tools. As ITK grows, I find my role evolving, always offering me a new professional challenge. Additionally, I’m dedicated to creating an inclusive and diverse team culture, for example by organizing events ensuring that all members feel integrated and valued within our team.

Diverse backgrounds, one ITK.

At ITK, our work culture is more than just achieving results; it’s about bringing together our team’s diverse backgrounds and collaborating with colleagues from all over the world. We’re a company with an international presence, and it’s the different views and ideas from across the globe that make us successful and help us grow.

I experienced this firsthand during a team event with colleagues from Brazil, Turkey, Italy and China. This blend of international perspectives drives our innovative spirit and makes us more than just a company – we’re a global team bound by shared values rooted deep in the ITK culture.

The backbone of our international success is a culture that values diversity and focuses on personal and professional growth.

The best of both worlds.

Spending a year studying in Germany, I didn’t just improve my language skills but also gained valuable intercultural insights. I remember a professor from my exchange program saying that the ideal engineer would combine the American ability to dream big with the German attention to detail.

This fusion is what drew me to work for a German company like ITK North America. The company’s growth mirrors these values: Instead of a sole focus on the product, ITK prioritizes the expertise and development of its team members and has maintained this initial spirit, making its culture one where employees are valued as the company’s primary asset.
