Shaping the future: Understanding customers and designing the ports of tomorrow.

In my role in business development for energy and e-mobility systems, I work closely with experts from the development and sales departments. Together, we shape the business portfolio and maintain direct contact with our customers. Understanding the technology is crucial for me, as well as grasping the customer’s pain points. As a curious person, I always enjoy delving into new markets and topics. Currently, the maritime sector particularly fascinates me.

Innovation in the maritime sector: Our contribution.

With our developments, we pave the way for a sustainable and efficient future in the maritime sector. For example, to enable the climate-neutral and cost-efficient operation of ports, we rely on an approach based on both data and simulation models. By taking a holistic view of the energy system, its sources, storage facilities and sinks, we create a basis for monitoring, analyzing and optimizing energy flows. Our team’s cross-industry expertise gives us the opportunity to contribute to achieving climate neutrality and accelerating the energy transition. This commitment is fulfilling to me on a personal level and makes me incredibly proud.

Through personal commitment, new doors open at ITK: The willingness for active participation and driving forward innovative approaches are key characteristics that distinguish ITK for me.

Empowerment and solidarity: The Women’s Network.

Alongside my technical responsibilities, my commitment to the women’s network is very close to my heart. I see it as an opportunity to create an inclusive environment where women* play an equal role, and I encourage not just myself, but all other women*, to be more confident and fully leverage their strengths. Our main goal is to increase the visibility and presence of women* at ITK. This not only creates more opportunities for women* but also enriches our corporate culture.
